Once your account has been successfully verified through KYC, you’ll be able to send money across borders with ease. Whether you’re supporting family, paying a bill, or sending a gift, Zobo makes it simple, fast, and stress-free, with zero fees and transparent exchange rates.
Here’s how to send money with Zobo:
Open the Zobo app and log in using your preferred method:
Sign in with Google
Sign in with Apple
Sign in with Email (using your registered email and secure password)
2. Tap “Send Money” on the Home Screen
Once you’re logged in, the Send Money option will be visible on your home dashboard.
3. Enter the Amount You’d Like to Send
Input the amount you want to send in USD (or your base currency, based on your country of registration).
You’ll immediately see:
The real-time exchange rate
The amount your recipient will receive in their local currency
Zobo always shows this clearly, so there are no surprises.
4. Choose a Delivery Method
Currently, Zobo supports: Bank Transfer – Send directly to your recipient’s bank account. (Additional delivery methods may be added soon)
5. Enter Recipient Details
Make sure you have the correct bank info. You’ll need:
Account Number
Bank Name (select from the list)
The app will automatically pull the account name for confirmation
Double-check to ensure everything is accurate.
6. Review Transfer Details
Before finalizing your transaction, you’ll land on a Review Page that displays:
Total amount being sent
Recipient’s bank details
Current exchange rate
Any applicable transaction fee (note: Zobo typically charges zero fees)
Total amount you’ll be debited
Bonus (optional): You can choose to add a little extra love to your transfer
Coupon: Enter a valid coupon code if you have one to apply any available discount or reward
7. Choose Your Payment Method
By default, payment is made using the registered debit card on your account. Want to use a different card?
Tap “Change Card”
Add new card details and confirm
Zobo keeps your payment information safe and secure with encrypted processing.
8. Select the Reason for Transfer
For compliance and clarity, choose a reason from the pre-configured list (e.g., family support, education, gift, etc.)
9. Proceed and Confirm
Once everything looks good, tap “Proceed”. You’ll immediately see a confirmation that your transaction is:
Initiated
Processing
You’ll also receive in-app and email notifications as the status updates.
After you’ve sent your transfer, you can track its progress in real time from your dashboard. You’ll always know:
When it’s sent
When it’s received
