Managing Your Settings and Profile on Zobo

Your Zobo profile is where you manage your personal info, recipient details, security preferences, and more, all in one place. This guide walks you through what you can do in the Settings & Profile section of the Zobo app.


Profile Information

To view your profile:

  1. Open the Zobo app and go to Settings

  2. Tap Profile

Here, you’ll see a summary of your registered account details:

  • Full Name

  • Email Address

  • Date of Birth

  • Country of Residence

  • Address & City

  • Postal/ZIP Code

  • Phone Number

PLEASE NOTE: If you need to update any of these details, kindly reach out to our customer support team at support@zobo.money. For security reasons, changes can’t be made directly from the app.


Enable Biometrics for Extra Security

Zobo lets you protect your account with biometric authentication (e.g. Face ID or fingerprint) for an added layer of convenience and safety.


You can enable biometrics for:

  • Logging into your account

  • Authorizing money transfers

To turn it on:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap Enable Biometrics

  3. Follow your phone’s instructions to activate fingerprint or facial recognition

Change Your Password

Need to update your login password? It only takes a minute:

  1. Open Settings

  2. Tap Change Password

  3. Enter your current password

  4. Enter and confirm your new password

  5. Tap Change Password to save

Your new password will be active immediately.


Managing Your Recipients

Sending money frequently to the same people? You can save time by adding recipients directly to your Zobo app.


You can add recipients via:

1. Bank Transfer

Send directly to a recipient’s bank account.

  • Tap Recipients in your menu

  • Tap Add New Recipient

  • Choose Bank Transfer

  • Enter their Account Number

  • Select their Bank (account name will populate automatically)

2. Mobile Money

Send money straight to a mobile wallet.

  • Tap Add New Recipient

  • Choose Mobile Money

  • Select Preferred Currency

  • Enter Phone Number

  • Choose Recipient’s Country

  • Select a Provider (e.g., MTN-CM, ORANGE-CM, NEXTELL-CM)

  • Enter First Name and Last Name

All saved recipients will be available in your transfer screen for quick selection.


Logout Anytime

Finished using the app? You can safely log out by tapping: Settings → Logout

For your security, we recommend logging out of shared devices.


Delete Your Account (Optional)

If you ever wish to close your Zobo account, you’ll find the option under Settings → Delete Account.

Please note: Deleting your account is permanent. All your data and transaction history will be removed. Ensure any remaining balance has been withdrawn before proceeding.
